Available Positions

Please note that you do not need experience to apply to any position, we will teach you and help you along the way. All positions, however, are required to communicate frequently and in a timely manner. Becoming a staff member with Sparks Magazine at UCF is a commitment and it is important you are active and on task with your responsibilities.

Writers

Responsibilities :

• Write articles for the upcoming semesterly issue or online publication

• Interview potential sources

• Working closely with sources as well as assigned photographers and designers

Photographers

Responsibilities:

• Organizing photoshoots with sources

• Edit photos

• Photographing members during events

​

Designers

Responsibilities:

• Designing spreads for individual articles

• Creating and illustrating graphics, if needed

• Collaborating with the Lead Designer on the final spread
